Whether a story or race report is about you or someone else
who has inspired you, Faithful Soles (FS) wants you to share it on our
site. If you have a story or race report you would like to submit (and a
photo with it, if applicable), please read the
criteria below, then
click here to email it
to us (please note this is a Yahoo email and is used instead of one of
our regular Faithful Soles emails to handle picture files that may be
larger in size).
Criteria for stories or race
reports submitted:

Stories or race reports must be submitted in Microsoft Word (or
similarly formatted text document).

Please make sure the story has a title,
or the race report specifies the race name, city and state, date and
distance.

If you are the author of the story or
race report, by
emailing it to FS you are allowing FS to post it on FS at no
charge to FS. If you are not the author, you must
indicate as such in your email when you submit it, and
include the actual author's email. FS must have permission from the
actual author via email before we will post it to the site.

FS recommends that you use your own
discretion in using either your FS User Name (determined by you when
you register as a member), your actual first and
last name, first name and last initial, or no name at all as the
author. FS also recommends that if you use the name(s)
of any other person(s) in the story or race report, that you use their first name
only, and that you have their permission to do so.

Stories and race reports must be 1,500 words or less (or
6,000 characters including spaces or less) and will remain
available on FS until such time (if any) that we are notified that
you no longer want the story posted, or until such time that FS
determines at its own discretion to remove the story. If you are
using Microsoft Word, highlight all of the text, then click "Tools"
and select "Word Count" to determine the number of words or
characters, then edit the story or race report for fewer words or
characters if needed.

You may submit a photo of your choosing
with the story or race report (please include it when you submit the
email). FS reserves the right to resize and/or crop the photo as it
sees fit for layout and placement on the web page that will hold the
story or race report. FS reserves the right to not publish a photo
that it deems may be offensive to its readers.

Hyperlinks are NOT allowed in stories or
race reports.

Stories or race reports containing profanity, content of
a sexual nature, or anything else which may be deemed by FS to be
offensive to its readers, will be rejected.

Regardless of the font size and style of the
story or race report submitted, all be posted in an Arial 10 pt. normal
font (the size and font of this text) with the title
in an Arial 10 pt. bold font (example: "The Greatest
Marathoner")

FS reserves the right at its sole discretion
whether or not to post stories or race reports or photos submitted for this site, as well as determining the layout on the web page.

Stories or race reports or photos not accepted will be emailed back to the
sender with an
explanation as to why.

FS reserves the right to run spell check
and/or edit the story or article as it sees fit for grammatical and/or
sentence structure errors. If FS feels the article needs to be
edited for content purposes other than this, then the sender will be
notified via email and those
changes must be done and resubmitted by the sender themselves.
